Let Sparruf set up the call for you

What is callback?

Callback lets Sparruf set up the call for you.

To initiate a callback, use the Sparruf prefix to dial the desired number:

0355 4949 + destination number

You will hear the  b u s y-signal  and Sparruf will call you back immediately. So don't forget to hang up in order to be reachable for Sparruf. Once you have picked up the callback, Sparruf will immediately connect you to your destination number.

To initiate a callback, you can also dial 0355 4949 00. In this case, you enter the destination number after Sparruf has called you back.

We also recommend the use of speed dial for maximum comfort and faster call setup.

Saving with callback

You should use callback whenever it is cheaper for Sparruf to call you and your destination number at the same time, compared to what you would pay when calling the destination number directly (for example, when calling from abroad).

When you pick up the callback, the standard Sparruf rates for calling you are applied.

Once the called party picks up, the Sparruf rates for calling that destination number are applied as well.

Example

You are in France and want to use your mobile phone to call a German landline number. To avoid expensive international call- and roaming charges, you buy a local prepaid card and make use of callback. Sparruf charges you 19 cents per minute for calling you back on your french mobile, plus 3 cents per minute for connecting you to the German landline number (22 cents per minute altogether).

Activating callback for your phone

Log into www.Sparruf.de. Click the Callback tab and tick your number.

You may also configure a static callback number. That way, whenever you initiate the callback from your normal phone, Sparruf calls you back on a different number.

This way, for example, you can be called back on a hotel number. Or, if you have a mobile phone with an associated landline number (HomeZone), Sparruf can call you back on the cheaper landline number.

New customer or new number?

If you do not have a Sparruf account yet, or if you want to add another phone number (e.g. a foreign mobile phone) to your existing Sparruf account, just dial 0355 4949 001 with that phone and follow the instructions to register for callback. After registring your number, callback is activated automatically and can be used immediately in the way described above.
