Number portability

Thanks to number portability it is now possible, to keep your number when you change mobile operators. Consequently, it is no longer possible to tell just from the number which network a mobile phone belongs to.

On-net calls are always free

In order to avoid unnecessary off-net charges, Sparruf has developped the network watchdog. The watchdog tells you whenever a dialled number is on the same network as you are. If you have a flatrate that covers your own mobile network, you can hang up before reaching the called party through Sparruf, in order to call directly using your flatrate. This way you avoid the Sparruf charges for that call and never again have to accidentally pay for on-net calls.

How it works

To activate the network watchdog, dial 0355 4949 048 from your mobile phone registered with Sparruf.
